Summary
This guidance document addresses the question of the relation between scholarly activity and intellectual property (IP) in its various forms, including how they relate to staff and students. It lays out some of the things that colleges might wish to think about in the general area of IP and specifically when seeking to encourage and embed a culture of scholarship amongst staff and students. It finishes with an aide-memoire aimed at helping colleges frame and/or enhance their policies in the area of intellectual property. There are sections which relate specifically to staff, and to students.
